Detailed Itinerary 3 Days Tour from Marrakech to Fez
Day 1 – Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley
Departure at 8:00 AM from Marrakech, heading towards the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m) with scenic stops and views of Berber villages.
Visit the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of Morocco. Drive through the Valley of Roses to reach the Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight stay in the Dades Valley.
Day 2 – Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga (Sahara Desert)
After breakfast, travel to the impressive Todra Gorges, a dramatic canyon with towering rock walls.
Continue to Erfoud and arrive in Merzouga, on the edge of the Sahara Desert. In the afternoon, enjoy a camel ride across the Erg Chebbi dunes to watch the sunset. Traditional dinner and overnight stay in a Berber desert camp under the stars.
Day 3 – Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Fez
Early wake-up recommended to enjoy the sunrise over the desert dunes. After breakfast, return by camel and depart towards Fez.
Drive through the Ziz Valley, passing Erfoud, Midelt, and the cedar forest of Azrou, where you may see Barbary macaques. Arrival in Fez in the afternoon and transfer to your hotel or riad. End of the tour.
