DAY 1: MARRAKECH
After breakfast, we will guide you on a visit to a different city, Marrakech, the pearl of southern Morocco. You will visit the Bay and El Badi Palaces, the Saadian Tombs, the Menara reservoir and many other hidden treasures. Lunch. Then we will visit the magnificent Koutoubia Mosque and the famous Djemaa el Fna market square, well worth a visit, being one of the main attractions of Marrakech, full of life at night with local storytellers, snake charmers and… variety of food with its typical mouth-watering smells and colors. DAY 2: MARRAKECH – THE DADES GORGES
After breakfast, we will leave for the Dades Gorges over the High Atlas through the Tizi N’tichka pass. On the side of the mountains we will see Berber villages and farms. We will continue to Ouarzazate, the capital of cinema in Morocco. Then through the road of the Thousand-Kasbahs we will take a road where we will have the opportunity to appreciate the tranquility of the mountains inhabited by Berber nomads. We will explore a new sense of daily life. We will arrive at the impressive Dades Gorge. Dinner and overnight in Dades.
DAY 3: THE DADES GORGES – THE TODRA GORGES – MERZOUGA
After breakfast, departure to the desert roads to continue to Tinghir and visit the Toudra Gorges (15 km from Tinghir), lunch on site. In the afternoon, departure to the city of Erfoud through the palm grove of Tinjdad, the palm grove of Touroug and the city of Erfoud. Visit of the workshop of marble production of fossils. DAY 4: MERZOUGA – ERG CHEBBI (DESERT)
After breakfast, we will make a great route through the dunes passing by: the 2 oasis of MERZOUGA, a nomad settlement at the back of the desert, the village of KHAMLIA (village of the blacks), the mines of MIFISS, the oasis TISSARDMINE…After that tour, we will ride on dromedaries, to start our journey to the camp where we will stay in comfortable tents with all the services (electricity, hot water and all the comforts so that you can spend an unforgettable night).
During the camel ride, we will stop to watch the sunset over the high dunes of Erg Chebbi. At the camp, you will enjoy an exquisite typical dinner and live music under the desert stars. Dinner and overnight in the desert.
DAY 5: ERG CHEBBI – RISSANI – NKO’B – OUARZAZATE
You can wake up early to see the beautiful sunrise between the dunes, after breakfast we will go by camel to the car, to continue our journey to Ouarzazate, passing through Rissani where we will stop a little to visit its traditional Souk, which is considered the largest in all of southern Morocco and continue to the beautiful Draa Valley with its millions of palm trees. In the afternoon we will arrive in Ouarzazate. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 6: OUARZAZATE – MARRAKECH
After breakfast departure to Ait Ben Haddou to see a kasbah where many movies have been filmed such as: Asterix & Obelix, Babel, Sahara, Kingdom of Heaven, Cleopatra and Gladiator. At the end of the day arrival in Marrakech. Transfer to hotel. End of our services.
