8 Days from Marrakech to Tangier
This 8-day tour invites you to discover the best of southern and northern Morocco, starting in the vibrant city of Marrakech and ending in the charming and cosmopolitan Tangier. Along the way, you will explore spectacular landscapes, traditional villages, imperial cities and live a unique experience in the Sahara Desert.
The trip includes the crossing of the High Atlas Mountains, a visit to the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, and the city of Ouarzazate. You will cross the magnificent valleys and gorges of the south until you reach the golden dunes of Merzouga, where you will enjoy a camel ride and a magical night in a Berber camp under the stars.
After the desert, you will continue north visiting the imperial city of Fez, the charming blue village of Chefchaouen, and finally you will reach Tangier, on the north coast of the country, overlooking the Strait of Gibraltar.

Visit Bahia Palace, El Badi Palace, Saadian Tombs, Menara Gardens, and hidden gems. Explore Koutoubia Mosque and Djemaa el-Fna square, alive with storytellers, snake charmers, and local foods.
Cross the Atlas Mountains via Tizi N’Tichka Pass. Stop at the Kasbah of Pasha Glaoui in Telouet, then visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou. Continue to Ouarzazate for a visit to the film studios.
Travel the “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs,” explore Todra Gorges, visit fossil quarries in Erfoud, and ride camels into the Sahara Desert. Witness sunset and sunrise over the dunes with traditional Berber music.
Camel ride at sunrise, then journey through Errachidia, Ziz Gorges, Midelt, Azrou, and Ifrane. Stop at the cedar forest to see Barbary macaques before arriving in Fez.
Walk through Fez’s medina, visit the Royal Palace gate, Jewish quarter, Al Qaraouine University, tanneries, Attarine Museum, Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss, and a tile-making cooperative. Enjoy panoramic views of the city.
Travel through Meknes (Bab Mansour, Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail), Rabat (Mausoleum of Mohammed V, Hassan Tower), and finally Casablanca (Hassan II Mosque). Overnight stay in Casablanca.
Drive along the coast to Asilah, admire murals and scenic viewpoints. Continue to Tangier, explore the medina and Church of Saint Bartholomew. End of your Marrakech to Tangier adventure.
