This 3-day tour is one of the most popular routes for those who want to connect the two imperial cities of Marrakech and Fez, traveling through the heart of southern Morocco and experiencing the magical Sahara Desert.
The journey begins in Marrakech, crossing the stunning High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass, with stops in Berber villages and at the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a setting for numerous films. You’ll then continue to the Dades Gorges, where you’ll spend the first night surrounded by canyons and unique rock formations.
The second day takes you to the Todra Gorges and finally to the desert of Merzouga, where an unforgettable camel ride through the Erg Chebbi dunes awaits. The day ends with a night in a Berber camp, enjoying local hospitality, traditional music, and a starlit sky you’ll never forget.
On the third day, you’ll travel to Fez, passing through the Ziz Valley, the cedar forest of Azrou, and the picturesque town of Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” before reaching your final destination.

Pick up from your hotel and cross the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi N’Tichka Pass. Visit the Kasbah of Pasha Glaoui and the UNESCO World Heritage Ait Ben Haddou before arriving in Ouarzazate. Overnight stay in Ouarzazate.
Travel along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, Rose Valley, and Todra Gorges. Stop at Erfoud’s fossil workshops and ride camels into the Sahara to reach your desert camp. Enjoy a traditional Berber dinner and live music under the stars.
Wake up early for the Sahara sunrise. Return by camel to Merzouga, then drive through Ziz Gorges, Tizi N’Talghamt Pass, and the Middle Atlas. Stop in Azrou to see the Barbary macaques and briefly in Ifrane before arriving in Fes.
