After breakfast at 8:00 AM, we’ll begin exploring the vibrant city of Marrakech, known as the Pearl of the South. Visits include the Bahia Palace, El Badi Palace, the Saadian Tombs, Menara Gardens, and other hidden treasures. After lunch, we’ll visit the Koutoubia Mosque and the famous Djemaa el-Fna market square—one of Marrakech’s main attractions. By night, the square comes alive with storytellers, snake charmers, and food stalls filled with delicious aromas and colorful dishes.

Day 3: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate

After breakfast, we’ll depart toward Ouarzazate. We’ll cross the majestic High Atlas Mountains via the stunning Tizi N’Tichka pass (2,260 meters), passing through Berber villages. We’ll take a detour to visit the Kasbah of Pasha Glaoui in Telouet, then continue through scenic Berber landscapes to the fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou—over 800 years old and the filming site for movies like Gladiator and Kingdom of Heaven. After exploring, we’ll continue to Ouarzazate for a possible visit to a movie studio and spend the night there.

Day 4: Ouarzazate – Rose Valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga

We’ll journey along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing through Rose Valley and eventually reaching the stunning Todra Gorges, a paradise for rock climbers. We’ll enjoy a walk along the Todra River surrounded by towering cliffs. Free time for lunch. Then we head to Erfoud to explore ancient fossil quarries. In the afternoon, we’ll ride camels into the Sahara Desert and spend the night in a traditional Berber tent. You’ll witness a magical sunset and sunrise from the vast dunes. At night, the Berbers will play drums under a star-filled sky.

    Day 5: Merzouga – Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane – Fez

We’ll wake early for a camel ride to watch what could be the most beautiful sunrise of your life. After breakfast back at the hotel, we’ll continue our journey, admiring the dramatic dunes of Erg Chebbi. We’ll travel through Errachidia, pass the Ziz Gorges carved in volcanic rock, and the Tizi Ntalghamt pass to Midelt. From there, we’ll visit Azrou, a Berber town in the Middle Atlas Mountains, and stop to see the Barbary macaques in the cedar forest. In Ifrane, known as “the French village,” we’ll take a break for photos or refreshments before arriving in Fez. Overnight in a Riad.

Day 6: Guided Tour of Fez

After breakfast at your riad, you’ll explore Morocco’s oldest imperial city. The guided tour begins with the Royal Palace Gate, the Jewish Quarter (Mellah), and continues to historical and cultural landmarks including Al Quaraouine University (the oldest in the region), the tanneries, the Attarine Museum, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss. After lunch, you’ll visit a tile-making cooperative and enjoy a panoramic view of the entire Fez Medina. Accommodation in a riad.

    Day 7: Fez – Chefchaouen

After breakfast, we depart for the charming blue town of Chefchaouen, nestled in the Rif Mountains. Known for its blue-and-white painted buildings, Chefchaouen is one of Morocco’s most picturesque towns. You’ll have free time to explore its medina, narrow streets, artisan shops, and tranquil atmosphere. Overnight in a local riad inside the medina.

You’ll visit Bab El Mansour gate, El Hedim Square, and wander through the medina’s narrow streets. Next, we’ll visit the sacred town of Moulay Idriss, where the founder of Islam in Morocco is buried. After an independent lunch, we’ll explore the Roman ruins of Volubilis—a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the afternoon, we continue to Rabat. After lunch, we head to Casablanca to visit the majestic Hassan II Mosque and other highlights before transferring you to your accommodation.

On route, we’ll stop at an argan oil cooperative to see how local women produce cosmetic and culinary argan oil—a time-honored and labor-intensive tradition. Once in Essaouira, you’ll have the day to explore the medina, surrounded by medieval walls and featuring a castle at its southern edge. Admire the whitewashed houses with blue shutters, stroll the narrow streets reflecting Portuguese and French architecture, relax on the beach, and enjoy a fresh seafood lunch at the port. You can hire a local guide or explore on your own, which is often the best way to enjoy this laid-back town. Return to Marrakech around 6 PM.
