    Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome in Errachidia – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga

Our team welcomes travelers upon arrival at Errachidia Airport or at their accommodation, offering a warm reception with genuine Moroccan hospitality.

    Journey through the Ziz Valley

We begin our journey heading south, passing through the breathtaking Ziz Valley, home to one of Morocco’s largest palm groves. Along the way, we’ll stop at panoramic viewpoints to take in the majestic scenery of endless palm trees stretching across the valley.

After passing through Erfoud—a town famous for its fossils and known as the gateway to the desert—we arrive in Merzouga, where camels await to take us on a magical ride through the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi at sunset.

    Overnight in the Desert Camp

The camel trek leads us to a luxury Berber desert camp, where a traditional dinner is served under the stars. The night is filled with live local music, an open campfire, and the unique experience of sleeping in a comfortable tent (haima) equipped with all necessary amenities.

Day 2: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

We wake up early to admire the sunrise over the dunes, a truly unforgettable moment. After breakfast at the camp, we set off westward.

    Rissani and the Traditional Market

Our first stop is in Rissani, a historic city linked to Morocco’s Alaouite dynasty. We visit its traditional market, where locals trade dates, spices, handmade crafts, and other regional goods.

    The Todra Gorges

Next, we head to the dramatic Todra Gorges, where towering cliffs rise up to 300 meters, forming a narrow canyon through which a clear river flows. It’s an ideal spot for a short hike, photography, or simply soaking in the natural beauty.

    Dades Valley

In the afternoon, we continue toward the scenic Dades Valley, known for its fascinating rock formations called “monkey fingers” and traditional kasbahs nestled in the mountains. We spend the night in a charming riad or hotel overlooking the valley, where a traditional Moroccan dinner is served.

Day 3: Dades Valley – Valley of Roses – Skoura – Ouarzazate

After breakfast, we resume our journey toward Marrakech, making multiple cultural and scenic stops along the way.

    Valley of Roses and Skoura

We pass through the Valley of Roses, where millions of blossoms bloom each spring and are used to produce rose water and natural cosmetics. We continue to the Skoura Oasis, a lush garden in the desert filled with palm trees and historic kasbahs like Amridil, one of the best-preserved in Morocco.

Ouarzazate, the Gateway to the Desert

We arrive in Ouarzazate, also known as the “Hollywood of Africa” for its famous film studios. Blockbusters such as Gladiator, The Mummy, and Game of Thrones were filmed here. We visit the Kasbah of Taourirt, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and spend the night in a local riad or hotel.

Day 4: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Tizi n’Tichka Pass – Marrakech

After breakfast, we head to one of Morocco’s most iconic landmarks.

Ait Ben Haddou, UNESCO World Heritage Site

We visit the legendary Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified adobe village featured in numerous Hollywood films. We explore its narrow alleyways and climb to the top for a breathtaking view of the surrounding valley.

    Crossing the High Atlas Mountains

We begin our journey across the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m), the highest mountain pass in Morocco. Along the way, we enjoy stunning views of valleys, Berber villages, and changing landscapes.

We arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon, where this 4-day journey filled with history, culture, and extraordinary scenery comes to an end.
