This 6-day tour will take you through the wonders of northern and central Morocco, starting in the port city of Tangier and ending in the vibrant Casablanca. A journey that will allow you to explore the country’s most emblematic cities, cultures and varied landscapes.
You will start your adventure in Tangier, a city full of history and with a unique location between two continents. From there, you will head south, passing through the charming city of Rabat, Morocco’s administrative capital, where you can enjoy its historic architecture and beautiful gardens. You will then continue on to Casablanca, the country’s most modern and cosmopolitan city, known for its impressive art deco architecture and famous port.
Along the way, you will explore ancient medinas, beaches, fortresses and natural landscapes that combine the traditional and the contemporary. You will have time to discover the bustling markets, the lively streets and the unique blend of Arab, Berber and colonial culture.
An ideal route for those who wish to get to know Morocco in depth, exploring both its history and its modernity in a short time.
On the first day of this 6-day tour from Tangier to Casablanca, we’ll begin with an early meeting at your accommodation, the airport, or the port in Tangier, also known as “the bride of the north.” The city is located in the northwest, where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean at Cape Spartel.
We’ll start by exploring the city, including a visit to the Hercules Caves and Cape Spartel.
After some free time for lunch, we will depart inland toward Chefchaouen, passing through Tetouan and the Rif Mountains. We’ll stop at various panoramic viewpoints along the way.
After breakfast, we’ll explore Chefchaouen, also known as Achaoun, which means “horns” in Berber. The city is nestled in the Rif Mountains in northwest Morocco.
It is famed for its blue- and white-washed buildings and narrow alleys. We’ll stroll through its charming old medina, full of beautiful authentic blue doors that make for perfect photo opportunities.
You’ll then have free time for lunch. In the afternoon, you may hike up to the Spanish Mosque, situated on a hilltop, where you’ll enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the entire blue city.
After breakfast, enjoy some free time to wander through the beautiful alleyways of Chefchaouen.
We then head to visit the well-preserved Roman ruins of Volubilis, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The site features beautiful mosaics, ancient pillars, and stone arches.
After exploring Volubilis, we drive about 30 km to Meknes, one of Morocco’s Imperial Cities and the Ismaili capital. There, we’ll visit:

Sahrij Souani basin
Royal stables and granaries
Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail
We continue on to the historic city of Fez for overnight stay.
After breakfast, we’ll pick you up from your accommodation for a guided tour of Fez, considered one of Morocco’s Imperial Cities and the cultural and religious center of the country.

Bab Boujloud (The Blue Gate), which marks the entrance to the Medina
Inside the Medina, with a local guide, we’ll visit:

Al Quaraouiyine Mosque and University, the oldest university in the world
We’ll then exit the Medina to visit the Jewish Quarter (Mellah) and end the day with panoramic views of the Medina from an old fortress.
After breakfast, we leave Fez and head to Rabat, Morocco’s current capital and another of its Imperial Cities, located on the northwest coast.

After some free time for lunch, we continue on to Casablanca, Morocco’s economic center.
Depending on your flight time, you may visit the Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in Morocco.
