    This fascinating 7-day tour will take you to explore the contrasts between the north and south of Morocco, starting in the port city of Tangier and ending in vibrant Marrakech. On this trip, you will discover the diversity of landscapes, cultures and traditions that make this country unique.

    From Tangier, you will travel south, passing through the most emblematic cities of the north such as Rabat and Fez, where you can explore their medinas, palaces and kasbahs. As you head south, you will reach the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara Desert. In Merzouga, you will live the unique experience of a camel ride in the dunes and a night in a haima, enjoying the tranquility of the desert under the stars.

    Along the way, you will discover traditional villages, colorful markets and spectacular landscapes. The journey culminates in Marrakech, where you can explore its famous Jamaa el Fna square, the Majorelle gardens and the charms of its medina.

    Day 1: Tangier – Tetouan – Chefchaouen

    On the first day of our North and South Morocco Tour, we will pick you up at the agreed time and location to begin our journey to Chefchaouen, stopping first in Tetouan, known as the “Spanish city.”
    Upon arrival in Chefchaouen, we will explore the town, walking through its streets lined with ancient houses painted in shades of blue and white, and enjoy the panoramic views of this magical city nestled in the Rif Mountains.


    Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fez

    After breakfast, we depart for Fez, driving along the forested Rif Mountains. On the way, we visit the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, with an optional local guide.
    Next, we head to Meknes, a city that flourished under Sultan Moulay Ismail. We will visit his palace, the famous Bab Mansour gate, Dar El Maa, and the royal granaries.
    We continue on to Fez for overnight stay.


    Day 3: Fez – (Guided Visit to the Largest Medina in Morocco)

    A full day is dedicated to discovering the intellectual and cultural capital of Morocco. You’ll visit numerous monuments such as:

    • Medersas (Quranic schools): Chahrij, Bou Inania, and Attarine

    • The souks, Fes El-Jdid, and the Karaouine Mosque (the first university in the world)
      Take a guided walking tour through the medina, the largest in the country and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.


    Day 4: Fez – Ifrane – Azrou – Cedar Forest – Erfoud – Merzouga

    After breakfast, we head south through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in:

    • Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Africa”

    • Azrou, a Berber village famous for its handicrafts, wooden sculptures, and wool carpets
      We continue toward Midelt, then travel through the Tizi Talghemt pass at 1,907 meters with its striking purple mountain landscapes.

    We pass through Errachidia and the palm groves of Erfoud, eventually arriving in Merzouga.
    From here, we head into the desert to spend the night in luxury tents nestled among the dunes, featuring private bathrooms and hot water.
    Enjoy a traditional Berber dinner, live music, and a magical night under the star-filled Saharan sky.


    Day 5: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Valley of Roses – Ouarzazate

    After breakfast, we travel through the palm groves of Rissani and Jorf along the Ziz River, continuing to Touroug Ksar, surrounded by spectacular oases.
    We pass Tinejdad and reach Tinerhir, where we’ll enjoy a walk through the breathtaking Todra Gorges.
    The journey continues through the Boumalne Dades Valley, stopping at Kelaa M’Gouna, known as the Valley of Roses.
    We arrive in Ouarzazate, where there’s an option to visit the Taourirt Kasbah, once the residence of the Pasha of Marrakech.


    Day 6: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Telouet – High Atlas – Marrakech

    After breakfast, we head to Marrakech via the Tizi-n-Tichka mountain pass (2,260 meters), also known as the “Pasture Pass.”
    On the way, you can opt to visit the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a famous and iconic fortress.
    We continue toward Telouet to visit the Palace of the Glaoui Pasha, located in the kasbah.
    The route through Tichka offers panoramic views and colorful landscapes of the Haouz Plain.
    Arrival in Marrakech in the evening.


    Day 7: Marrakech – Marrakech

    On the final day of our North and South Morocco Tour, we’ll enjoy a morning tour of Marrakech, the city that gave the country its name.
    It lies at the foot of the snow-capped Atlas Mountains and has played an important role in Morocco’s political, cultural, and economic history.

    Marrakech is also known as a city of entertainment and wonder, especially in the vibrant Jemaa el-Fna Square, where you’ll encounter snake charmers, musicians, dancers, storytellers, fortune tellers, and more.
