    This fascinating 9-day trip will take you to explore the best of Morocco, from the cool coasts of the north to the warm landscapes of the south. A tour designed for those who wish to experience the diversity of this country, both in its culture and its breathtaking landscapes.

    You will start in the vibrant city of Casablanca, where you will explore its modernity and architecture, and then continue to Rabat, Morocco’s administrative capital. You will travel through the historic city of Fez, with its ancient medina, and then discover the charms of the southern cities of Erfoud and Merzouga, where you can enjoy a unique experience in the Sahara desert. You will ride a camel through the dunes and spend a night in a traditional haima under a starry sky.

    The trip also includes visits to impressive kasbahs, the Atlas Mountains and the palm trees of Ouarzazate, before ending in the red city of Marrakech, where the history, art and magic of the city will leave you speechless.

    Itinerary

    Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen

    Departure from Tangier in northern Morocco toward Chefchaouen, the famous Blue City. Enjoy a walk through its charming blue-painted streets and explore the medina, Uta el-Hammam Square, and the Ras El Ma waterfall.
    Overnight in a riad. Breakfast included.


    Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fez

    After breakfast, we travel to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We then continue to Meknes, where you’ll visit Bab Mansour and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail.
    Arrival in Fez and overnight in a traditional riad.

    Day 3: Fez – Guided Tour of the Largest Medina in the Country

    A full day dedicated to discovering the intellectual capital of the kingdom. There are numerous monuments to visit:

    • Madrassas (Islamic schools) such as Chahrij, Bou Inania, and Attarine.

    • The souks, Fes El-Jdid, and the Karaouine Mosque (considered the first university in the world).

    • A walking tour of the medina.
      Breakfast included.


    Day 4: Fez – Ifrane – Azrou – Cedar Forest – Erfoud – Merzouga

    After breakfast, we head into the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in:

    • Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco.”

    • Azrou, a Berber town known for its crafts, carpets, and woodwork.

    • We pass through Midelt and continue along the Tizi Talghemt (Camel Neck Pass, 1,907 meters high), with impressive, rugged purple landscapes.

    We pass through Errachidia, the Erfoud palm grove, and arrive in Merzouga. From here, we enter the Sahara Desert to spend the night in a luxury desert camp among the dunes. You’ll enjoy a traditional Berber dinner, live music, and an unforgettable night under the starry sky.

    Day 5: Merzouga – Khamlia – Rissani

    A full day of desert exploration:

    • Visit the village of Khamlia, known for its Gnawa music.

    • Explore the traditional market of Rissani.

    • Take a 4×4 tour through the dunes.

    • Optional lunch in a local restaurant or a Berber family home (your choice).

    Return to the desert camp for another magical night.
    Dinner and breakfast included.


    Day 6: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Rose Valley – Ouarzazate

    After breakfast, we head toward:

    • The Rissani and Jorf palm groves along the Ziz River.

    • The Ksar of Touroug, surrounded by scenic oases.

    • The town of Tinejdad, then Tinerhir.

    After lunch, we walk through the breathtaking Todra Gorges and continue through the Dades Valley, visiting Kelaa M’Gouna (Valley of the Roses).
    Arrival in Ouarzazate, with the option to visit the Kasbah of Taourirt, former residence of the Pasha of Marrakech.
    Dinner and breakfast included.


    Day 7: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Telouet – High Atlas – Marrakech

    After breakfast, we travel toward Marrakech via the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass (2,260 meters), also known as the “Pastures Pass.”

    Along the way:

    • Optional visit to the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and iconic mud-brick village.

    • Visit the Palace of Telouet, once the seat of the Glaoui Pasha of Marrakech.

    We continue through the High Atlas Mountains, enjoying spectacular views before arriving in Marrakech.

    Day 8: Marrakech – Essaouira (Day Trip)

    Your driver will pick you up at 8:00 AM for a day trip to Essaouira. Enjoy the scenic drive and stop to visit an argan oil cooperative, where local women produce oil for culinary and cosmetic use.

    Upon arrival in Essaouira, explore the charming medina, surrounded by medieval walls and home to:

    • A castle at the southern edge.

    • White-washed houses with blue shutters.

    • Narrow, lively streets with French and Portuguese architecture.

    • The beach and fishing port.

    Enjoy lunch at a local seafood restaurant in the port. You may explore on your own or hire a local guide (self-guided is recommended for the best experience).
    Return to Marrakech around 5 PM.

    Day 9: Marrakech City Tour – Transfer to Airport

    On the final day, we take a morning guided tour of Marrakech, a city in constant celebration, especially in the famous Jemaa el-Fna Square, a living open-air theater with:

    • Snake charmers, musicians, dancers, storytellers, fortune tellers, and more.

    Other sites to visit include:

    • Ben Youssef Madrasa

    • Menara Gardens

    • Dar Si Said Museum

    • Agdal Garden

    • Saadian Tombs

    • El Badi Palace

    • Bahia Palace
