During the trip, you will explore the charming Tangier and its surroundings, then cross the Rif Mountains and the vast plains to the imperial cities and Berber villages. You will reach the desert of Merzouga, where you can ride a camel and enjoy a night in the desert under the stars, an unforgettable experience that will connect you with the serenity of the Sahara.
Afterwards, you will continue to the medieval city of Fez, famous for its well-preserved medina, rich history and fascinating architecture. In Fez, you will walk through its maze of streets and explore its unique cultural heritage.
A short but complete experience for those who wish to immerse themselves in the diversity and beauty of Morocco in a short time.
Pickup at the agreed location in Tangier and begin with a city tour. Youâll enjoy exploring the medina, Great Mosque, April 9th Square, and local shopping streets.
Then, depart for Chefchaouen, famous for its blue-painted houses, narrow alleyways, and unique handicrafts. Nestled in the Rif Mountains, it is one of the most picturesque cities in northern Morocco.
After breakfast, we travel toward Fez, the oldest imperial city in Morocco. Explore the medina, souks, and a traditional tannery.
Fez is divided into three areas:
Fez el Bali â the ancient city inside the walls
Fez el Jdid â the Jewish quarter
Ville Nouvelle â the modern southern district
The medina of Fez el Bali is the largest pedestrian area in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
After visiting Fez, continue through Ifrane and the cedar forests to reach Midelt. Overnight in Midelt.
After breakfast, journey through the Northern Atlas Mountains and Ziz Valley. Enjoy panoramic views of mountains, rivers, gorges, oasis, and reservoirs.
Pass through Errachidia before arriving in Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Dinner and overnight stay in Merzouga.
After breakfast, explore the Erg Chebbi dunes:
Visit a Berber family and listen to traditional Gnawa music from Mali and Sudan
Explore abandoned mines and meet nomadic Berbers
Stop at a palm oasis
In the afternoon, ride camels into the desert to reach a luxury desert camp.
Enjoy sunset photography, traditional dinner, live drumming music, and a night under the star-filled Saharan sky. The silence and vastness of the desert create an unforgettable experience.
Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the golden dunes.
After breakfast, return by camel to the vehicle and journey back to Fez. Overnight stay in Fez.
After breakfast, depart Fez and return to Tangier with drop-off at the agreed location.
