This company truly took us all around Morocco it was such a great and immersive experience with authentic foods, music, culture, beautiful accommodations, beautiful destinations and a genuine set of tour guides that made it that much more special. We visited so many cities and had such great experiences. Ali and team are top tier frequent communication during the planning, quick responses to questions, made solid recommendations. We spent all days driving in a roomy air conditioned bus with so many stops to give us the history of the place. They negotiate for us, translate for us and ensured fair prices wherever we went. They provided good advice on what to expect in various locations like the market which could be overwhelming. They introduced us to new foods, fruit, the language the ways of the Berber. They go above and beyond expectations. Ali is a fantastic photographer and gets those shots we didn't know we wanted. Each place we stayed had bits of the authentic ness of Morocco and some were breathtakingly beautiful. I checked rates and what our tour cost per night this was a great deal compared to the price of the hotel. Airport drop offs and pick ups, authentic Berber food I could go on. If you've reached this far know that this was truly a 10/10 experience and I would recommend them to anyone and I would visit again.Posted on hesford bVerified Yalla! Yalla! 3 Days Fez To Marrakech
This 3-day tour is a short but intense journey that connects the two imperial cities of Fez and Marrakech, crossing the impressive Sahara Desert and landscapes that seem out of this world. It is ideal for travelers with little time who do not want to miss the magical experience of the Sahara.
The journey begins in Fez, from where you will enter the Middle Atlas, passing through Ifrane (known as the “Switzerland of Morocco”) and the cedar forests of Azrou. You will continue south through the Ziz Valley until you reach Merzouga, where a camel adventure through the Erg Chebbi dunes and an unforgettable night in a traditional Berber camp under the stars awaits you.
In the following days, you will cross the spectacular landscapes of the Dades Valley and the Todra Gorges, visit ancient kasbahs and palm groves, and travel along the route of a thousand kasbahs until you reach the legendary Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, before crossing the High Atlas via the Tizi n’Tichka pass heading to Marrakech.
A journey full of contrasts, stunning landscapes, and authentic culture in just three days.
Embark on a memorable 3 days Fez to Marrakech tour through the diverse landscapes of Morocco. From the cool cedar forests of the Middle Atlas to the golden dunes of the Sahara and the dramatic valleys of the south, this journey offers a true taste of Moroccan beauty and culture.
The adventure begins as we depart from Fez toward the Sahara Desert. Along the way, we pass through Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” and the cedar forests of Azrou, where you can see wild monkeys and enjoy a refreshing nature stop.
We continue through the Middle Atlas Mountains to Midelt, where we’ll pause for lunch. Afterward, the road leads us past Rich and down toward the desert plains, reaching Erfoud, the gateway to the Tafilalet Oasis and the dunes of Erg Chebbi.
From Erfoud, we head to Merzouga, where your desert experience begins. You’ll ride camels into the heart of the Sahara, witnessing a breathtaking sunset over the dunes. At the desert camp, enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner, Berber drum music, and a peaceful night under the star-filled sky. Overnight in a nomadic-style tent.
Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the Sahara dunes—one of the most unforgettable moments of your Fez to Marrakech desert tour. After breakfast, return by camel to Merzouga and begin your journey westward.
We’ll pass through Rissani, the birthplace of the Alaouite dynasty, and Erfoud, famous for fossils and dates. Our route continues through Tinghir and the magnificent Todra Gorges, with towering canyon walls that attract climbers from all over the world.
After lunch, we travel along the scenic Dades Valley, the Valley of Roses, and the palm groves of Skoura, reaching Ouarzazate by evening. Dinner and overnight stay in a local riad or hotel.
On the final day of your 3 days trip from Fez to Marrakech, we visit the famous Atlas Film Studios of Ouarzazate before heading to the legendary Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most iconic landmarks in Morocco. Several famous movies, including Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia, were filmed here.
We then drive through the spectacular High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m) and admiring traditional Berber villages along the way.
By evening, we arrive in Marrakech, marking the end of your unforgettable Fez to Marrakech tour through the Sahara Desert and southern Morocco.
