4 Days Fez to Marrakech Tour 🏜️

Embark on an unforgettable 4 days Fez to Marrakech tour and experience the true essence of Morocco — from the ancient medina of Fez to the golden dunes of Merzouga and the vibrant streets of Marrakech. 🌍🐫

Day 1: Journey from Fez to Merzouga Desert 🌄

Your Fez to Marrakech trip begins early in the morning as we pick you up from your riad or hotel in Fez. We’ll head south through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping first in Ifrane, known as the “Moroccan Switzerland.”

Next, we visit the cedar forest of Azrou, home to playful Barbary monkeys — a perfect spot to stretch your legs and take photos. Continuing toward Midelt, the “apple capital” of Morocco, we’ll stop for lunch before driving through the Ziz Valley, famous for its palm groves and ksars (fortified villages).

Passing through Errachidia and Erfoud, known for fossils and dates, we finally arrive in Merzouga, gateway to the Sahara Desert. Relax and enjoy the magical sunset over the dunes. Overnight stay in a riad or hotel. 🌅

Day 2: Explore Erg Chebbi and Nomad Life – Fez to Marrakech Desert Tour 🐪

After breakfast, we visit Khamlia village, where you’ll enjoy traditional Gnawa music performed by descendants of Sub-Saharan Africans.

We continue our Fez to Marrakech desert tour exploring the dunes by 4×4, visiting nomadic Berber families, and tasting authentic dishes like Berber pizza or couscous.

Later, prepare for an unforgettable camel ride through the Erg Chebbi dunes at sunset 🌇. Upon arrival at the desert camp, enjoy a Moroccan dinner, live Berber drums, and stargazing under the vast Sahara sky. Overnight in a Berber tent. ✨

Day 3: From Merzouga to Ouarzazate via Todra Gorges 🏞️

Wake up early to witness the sunrise over the dunes — one of the highlights of your Fez to Marrakech tour. After breakfast, we return by camel to Merzouga and continue through Rissani and Erfoud, where you can visit a fossil workshop.

We then travel to the stunning Todra Gorges, a paradise for photographers and rock climbers with its 300-meter-high cliffs. After lunch, we continue through the Dades Valley, the Valley of Roses, and the scenic Road of the Thousand Kasbahs, before arriving in Ouarzazate, also known as the “Hollywood of Morocco.” Dinner and overnight in a riad or hotel. 🎬

Day 4: Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas – End of Fez to Marrakech Trip 🕌

After breakfast, we explore the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site and filming location for movies like Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia.

We then cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, enjoying spectacular landscapes before arriving in Marrakech, where your incredible 4 days Fez to Marrakech trip concludes. 💫
