Enjoy a fascinating 8-day tour starting and ending in Marrakech, crossing breathtaking landscapes, traditional villages and one of the most beautiful deserts in the world: the Sahara. This route will allow you to explore the best of southern Morocco, combining culture, nature and adventure.
Along the way, you will visit the majestic kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, the Dades and Todra Gorges, and the Berber villages clinging to the High Atlas Mountains. You will spend a magical night in a bivouac in the desert of Merzouga, where you will enjoy a camel ride at sunset and a traditional dinner under the stars.
The journey continues through the Ziz Valley, the Skoura palm grove and Ouarzazate, known as “the Hollywood of Africa”, before returning to Marrakech with a heart full of unforgettable memories.
You will be greeted upon arrival and transferred to your hotel. Our representative will provide a brief overview of your 8-Day Tour from Marrakech through the Sahara Desert.
We’ll start at 8:00 AM, heading toward the High Atlas Mountains and crossing scenic Berber villages. Visit Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for movies like Gladiator. After lunch, we continue through Skoura and the Valley of the Roses to reach Dades for the night.
After breakfast, we visit the fascinating rock formations of Dades and the impressive Todra Gorges with 300-meter-high cliffs. Continue south toward Erfoud and the golden dunes of Merzouga. Enjoy a camel ride at sunset, dinner, and Berber music around the fire under a starry sky.
Wake up early to watch the magical sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, travel through Tazzarine, the Draa Valley, and Agdz, known for its palm oases and date trees. Stop in Ouarzazate for lunch before crossing the High Atlas Mountains and returning to Marrakech.
Today you’ll explore the Pearl of the South, Marrakech. Visit Bahia Palace, El Badi Palace, Saadian Tombs, and Menara Gardens. After lunch, discover Koutoubia Mosque and the lively Jemaa El-Fna square, full of energy with storytellers, snake charmers, and local food stalls.
Your driver will pick you up at 8:00 AM for a scenic drive to Essaouira, with a stop at an Argan oil cooperative. Explore the medina’s blue-and-white streets, visit the fishing port, and relax by the ocean. Return to Marrakech by evening.
Depart for Ouzoud Waterfalls, one of Morocco’s most beautiful natural sites. Walk down the paths lined with cafés, spot playful macaque monkeys, and enjoy the panoramic views. Lunch (not included) at a local restaurant with a stunning view of the falls.
