Overview

From Tangier, you will travel south, passing through the most emblematic cities of the north such as Rabat and Fez, where you can explore their medinas, palaces and kasbahs. As you head south, you will reach the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara Desert. In Merzouga, you will live the unique experience of a camel ride in the dunes and a night in a haima, enjoying the tranquility of the desert under the stars.

Along the way, you will discover traditional villages, colorful markets and spectacular landscapes. The journey culminates in Marrakech, where you can explore its famous Jamaa el Fna square, the Majorelle gardens and the charms of its medina.

🌄 Day 1 – Tangier to Chefchaouen: Start Your North and South Morocco Adventure

On the first day of your North and South Morocco Tour, we pick you up in Tangier and drive through Tetouan, known as the “Spanish city.”
Once in Chefchaouen, stroll through its charming blue-and-white streets and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Rif Mountains.


🏛️ Day 2 – Chefchaouen to Volubilis & Meknes: Explore More of North and South Morocco

After breakfast, continue your journey toward Fez. Stop at the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with beautiful mosaics and ancient architecture.
Next, visit Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities. Explore Bab Mansour Gate, Dar El Maa, and the royal granaries before heading to Fez for your overnight stay.


🕌 Day 3 – Guided Tour in Fez: Discover the Cultural Heart of North and South Morocco

Spend a full day exploring Fez, the spiritual and intellectual capital of Morocco.
Visit landmarks such as Bou Inania Medersa, the souks, Fes El-Jdid, and the Karaouine Mosque, the oldest university in the world.
Take a guided walking tour through the medina, the largest in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.


🐪 Day 4 – Fez to Merzouga: Experience the Sahara on Your North and South Morocco Journey

Travel through Ifrane, Azrou, and the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping to admire local handicrafts and the stunning landscapes.
Reach Merzouga and enjoy a sunset camel trek into the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi.
Spend the night in a luxury desert camp, with traditional Berber music, dinner under the stars, and comfortable tents with private bathrooms.


🌹 Day 5 – Merzouga to Ouarzazate: Explore Todra Gorges & Valley of Roses

After a magical sunrise over the Sahara, visit Rissani, Tinejdad, and Todra Gorges, where dramatic cliffs create a breathtaking canyon.
Continue through the Boumalne Dades Valley and stop at Kelaa M’Gouna, the heart of the Valley of Roses.
Arrive in Ouarzazate with an optional visit to the Taourirt Kasbah, once home to the Pasha of Marrakech.


🏔️ Day 6 – Ouarzazate to Marrakech: Cross the High Atlas Mountains

Travel via the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass (2,260 m), also called the “Pasture Pass,” and stop at the UNESCO Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a famous film location.
Visit Telouet Kasbah, the historic palace of the Glaoui Pasha.
Enjoy panoramic mountain views as you descend to Marrakech for your evening arrival.


🎨 Day 7 – Marrakech: Conclude Your North and South Morocco Tour

Discover the vibrant city of Marrakech, at the foot of the Atlas Mountains.
Explore Jemaa el-Fna Square, Ben Youssef Medersa, Menara Gardens, Dar Si Said Museum, Agdal Gardens, Saadian Tombs, and El Badi & Bahia Palaces.
